- 9U–10U: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- 7U–8U: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- 11U–12U: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Throughout the event, athletes will be tested and provided with a full set of performance metrics, such as exit velocity, arm velocity, running speed, agility, and fielding evaluations. This ensures that every player gains valuable measurable results that highlight their skills and development.

This event will be hosted at the Southern Pines Regional Park Indoor Sports Complex — a newly built 50,000 sq. ft. indoor training and testing facility featuring advanced player evaluation stations, professional turf surfaces, and a comfortable, climate-controlled environment for families and athletes.
What Is the Top Prospect Combine?
The Top Prospect Combine is a fully metric-driven event designed to showcase an athlete's skills and provide measurable data that shows exactly where each player stands. This event gives players a chance to be evaluated in key areas of baseball performance, with professional-level testing and advanced technology capturing results every step of the way.
Speed & Agility
Players will be tested through multiple drills to evaluate their athleticism and quickness:
- Home to Second Time – measuring straight-line speed.
- Cone Agility Drill – testing lateral quickness and body control.
- Timed Performance Course – featuring ladders and tires to measure footwork, endurance, and explosiveness.
Fielding
Athletes will field at their primary positions, with metrics recorded for:
- Defensive ability
- Velocity on throws
- Accuracy of throws
Hitting
Players will warm up in the cages before their hitting session on the HitTrax machine, where we will measure:
- Exit Velocity
- Batting Average
- Hitting Metrics
Recognition & Awards
At the conclusion of each age group, we will host an award ceremony to recognize top performers across each testing category.
